How to redirect blogger to custom domain in Namecheap

Yey! MavTech has now its own domain  name www.mavtech.info. I bought it from NameCheap, one of  the best Domain Name Registrar when it comes to customer service, recommended by a blogger friend Anciro The Backpackman 

Follow this simple steps in order for you to set up your domain.

Step 1. Log-in to your Blogger account.

 On your Blogger Dashboard click/drop-down 'more option' and Click 'Settings'

Step 2. You have to add a custom

If you notice, there's an error, which means you have to verify your domain, blogger provides Two(2) CNAMEs

Step 3. Log-in to your Namecheap account. Click your username then Manage Domains. as shown below.



Step 4. Click your Domain Name. Then Click "All Host Records" on the left side Menu.

Step 5. Now you have to add the Two (2) CNAMEs 

at Host Name '@' add your domain and choose URL Redirect on Record Type. on 'www' add ghs.google.com as provided by blogger and choose CNAME (Alias) - Dropdown to select.

The Sub-domain settings, copy the code under the Name, Label or Host field. see image below

Step 6. The most important thing. Click 'save changes' and your done!  Enjoy your new custom domain.
